MAKE WATER FLOW

Drop a source into your scene, run pipes out to troughs, tanks and fountains, and watch the water flow downhill and fill them for real. Sources supply water, pipes carry it, valves cut it, and pumps lift it uphill, all native to Game Creator 2 so your world reacts to water with the nodes you already know.

The best part is that your players can plumb the place themselves. They walk up to a fitting, drag a live pipe to the next one just like a survival game, and bring the taps to life one length at a time. They can cut a pipe and reroute it, split one source across a manifold, or pump water up to a rooftop tank.

Water behaves the way players expect. It only runs downhill unless a pump pushes it up, and containers fill with real liquid that rises and drains behind their walls. Every moment that matters, a trough filling, a valve thrown, a tank running dry, is a Game Creator event you can hang a quest, a sound or a splash on. No code required.

Built for survival, base building, farming, puzzles and immersive sims, or any world where water should feel real.

FEATURES

πŸ’§ DRAG PIPES IN GAME

Your player aims at a fitting and drags a live, sagging pipe to another to plumb the level at runtime.

⬇️ REAL GRAVITY

Water only flows downhill on its own, so height matters. Mount a tank up high and it feeds everything below it.

βš™οΈ PUMPS THAT LIFT WATER

Drop in a pump and water climbs uphill and pressurises the line beyond it. Pumps even chain for tall lifts.

🧊 CONTAINERS THAT FILL

Troughs and tanks fill with real liquid that rises and drains, with a waterline that stays flat even when tilted.

🚿 VALVES AND MANIFOLDS

Cut a whole row of sprinklers with one valve, or split a single source across many pipes with a junction.

βœ‚οΈ CUT AND REROUTE

Flip the tool to cut mode and pull pipes back out. Replumb the base however you like, whenever you like.

πŸ”— DAISY CHAIN TANKS

Let a header tank fill and then feed the troughs below it, with a single pass through toggle.

🌊 VISIBLE FLOW DIRECTION

Pipes show the water moving through them, always in the true direction of flow, so the system reads at a glance.

⚠️ REACT TO EVERYTHING

Events fire on supplied, dry, valve toggled, tank empty, refilled, pump started and more. Drive quests, sounds and story.

πŸ”Œ OPTIONAL ELECTRIC PUMP

Own Electrician for Game Creator 2 as well? The pump can run on real electricity from a generator. Never required.

🎨 LIVE INSPECTOR GAUGES

A tank gauge, flow load and wet or dry read out right in the Inspector so you can watch water move as you play.

🧩 ONE CLICK, NO EXTRA DEPENDENCIES

Pure Game Creator 2 core. Nothing else to install.

Technical details

🧩 11 DROP ON COMPONENTS

Water Source, Water Consumer, Water Valve, Water Junction, Water Pump, Water Socket, Pipe, Pipe Wiring Tool, Pipe Wiring HUD, Water Fill Level and Plumber Settings.

πŸŽ›οΈ 33 GAME CREATOR 2 NODES

17 instructions, 5 conditions and 11 events, all under one tidy Plumber menu.

🧠 GRAVITY SOLVER

A directed flood fill from every running source. Water spreads through pipes and open valves downhill only, a pump re-emits it and pressurises the line so it can climb, and a global switch turns gravity off for pressurised mains.

⚑ RUNTIME PIPE TOOL

Raycasts to sockets, shows a live preview pipe, clicks to connect, has a second mode to cut, and can spend an optional length budget.

🌊 TWO WATER SHADERS

A pipe flow shader with visible, direction aware chevrons, and a container fill shader that fills any mesh to a world height waterline with a bright surface, ripple and fresnel.

πŸ”Œ OPTIONAL ELECTRICIAN BRIDGE

The pump reads Electrician power through a scripting define, so it lights up only when both packs are present. The asset compiles and runs on Game Creator 2 core alone.

REQUIRES

Game Creator 2 core. Optional Electrician for Game Creator 2 for the electric pump. Universal Render Pipeline for the water shaders. Built and tested on Unity 6.
