MK Glow is a powerful glow and bloom post-processing solution for Unity, built for artists and developers who want more control and a more distinctive look than standard bloom.
Create anything from subtle, natural light scattering to highly stylized glow using customizable Bloom, Lens Flare, Glare and Lens Surface effects.
More Than Bloom
Go beyond basic bloom with a complete set of customizable effects:
Whether you're creating neon environments, sci-fi interfaces, magical effects, emissive materials or subtle cinematic highlights, MK Glow gives you detailed control over the final look.
Two Flexible Glow Workflows
Natural creates smooth, emission-driven glow without relying on a hard threshold — ideal for natural light scattering and emissive materials. - No thresholding, no color cutoff at all.
Threshold gives you precise control over which areas contribute to the glow — perfect for neon, sci-fi and strongly stylized visuals. - Threshold acts like a greyscale filter to define bright and dark parts of the image.
Artist-Friendly & Cross-Pipeline
A custom editor, installation tools, presets and example scenes make MK Glow quick to set up while still offering extensive control for advanced users.
The workflow stays familiar across Built-in, URP and HDRP.
How MK Glow Works
MK Glow is a full-screen post-processing effect, not a component attached directly to individual objects.
Objects contribute to the glow through their rendered brightness and emission, while threshold and luminance controls determine what glows and how strongly.
Built for Production
MK Glow supports 2D and 3D projects, mobile and XR/VR workflows, Sprite/UI use cases, quality scaling and full source-code access.
