About this asset
MediaPlayer8 currently only works on Android, including Android-based VR headsets, and, since it uses hardware-level decoding, it means you cannot run it in Editor, because the Unity Editor runs on Windows/Mac/Linux.
A fully featured, all purpose media player. Supports all popular formats both for local playback and for streaming (DASH, HLS, SmoothStreaming, Progressive streaming, RTMP).
Usual controls like setting the volume, seeking, pausing are fully supported.

The core is based on ExoPlayer, so most features present there are accessible in MP8 - missing features can be implemented upon request, for free.
