WetShader Cavities

WetShader Cavities allows you to generate a wet effect on planar meshes with dynamic reflections. You can blend two materials using a mask, then apply a wet map on top that can also be modulated in height. Optionally, you can enable DX11 Tessellation to increase geometry height using a height map.



WetShader Cavities gives you the ability to:

Mix 2 layers with color, normal, specular, and gloss through a black and white mask. (Black for the first layer, white for the second).

Resize all the UV maps simultaneously for each layer

Create a map of wet to be placed on two layers.

Create contrast effects with a map of occlusion and adjust the brightness.

Add a contour map for the wet to provide an additional color on the edges.

For the wet effect you can check the level of specular, gloss, adherence and quantity.

Add height maps tessellation to make interpolations with the Wet map.
