Build it. Break it. Win.
Modular Robot Builder & Combat Kit is a complete, playable robot-combat game you can make your own. Players build a robot in the garage, part by part, and take it into the arena against AI opponents. Wheels tear off, armour dents where it's hit, spinners throw robots across the floor. Everything is data you edit in the Inspector, and all of it is clean, commented C#.
The garage builder
- 45 parts in 10 categories: chassis, wheels and treads, batteries, cores, armour, weapons, structure, mechanisms, attachments and cosmetics
- 50 prefabs, one for every model, ready to drop into your own scenes
- Parts snap to sockets and to mounts on other parts. Rotate, resize and mirror them, with undo and redo
- Free building: a frame kit you shape cell by cell, plus hinges, spin motors, pistons and turntables. Put a plate on a hinge and you have a flipper. Put a disc on a motor and you have a spinner. The weapon's power comes from the physics of what you mounted
- Control mapping: any key fires any weapon, with delays for chained moves and sensors that fire automatically
- Live stats and rules: weight classes, build points, mass, speed and power, with clear warnings
- Paint: colours, 3 finishes, 5 patterns, stickers, racing numbers
- 5 starter templates, plus share codes that copy a whole robot as one line of text
The fight
- Physics combat: flippers, spinners, hammers, saws, rams and every home-made mechanism
- Each part has its own health. Hits press dents into the mesh, damaged plates bend, broken parts fall off, and the frame can be cut in two
- Self-righting, and robots that keep driving upside down
- AI opponents with profiles (aggressive, careful, flanker…) that read the arena and avoid hazards
- Arena hazards: floor saws, a hammer, a floor flipper, a pit
- Win by knockout, pit, immobilisation, or a judges' decision on points
- Spectator mode: press F2 and an AI drives your robot (watch two AIs test your new part)
- Game feel: hit-stop, camera shake, sparks, smoke, debris, crowd, procedural sound
A whole game around it
- Career with 3 leagues and 12 events: duels, short fuses, hazard nights, and gauntlets where damage carries between rounds. Rivals, trophies, a scrap economy, a shop and challenges
- Complete UI built from code: menu, garage, shop, career, results with judges' scores, pause, settings, and loading screens with fight cards
- Phones and tablets: a floating thumb stick, weapon buttons and the safe area handled. Tested on Android. Gamepad and keyboard work too
- Save and load, 5 robot slots
Ready to use
- Main Menu, Garage and Arena scenes, plus two demo scenes: a part showroom and an instant AI-vs-AI fight
- Setup window: checks your project and adds the scenes in one click
- 23 EditMode tests and a full PDF guide (add a part, a weapon, an opponent, an arena)
- No third-party code or art: models from our own Blender scripts, textures from code, sounds synthesised at runtime. The UI fonts are free fonts under the SIL Open Font License (included)
Unity 6 · URP · Input System · Cinemachine 3. Online multiplayer is not included.
