Reversed FX is exactly what it says, but the range of what has been reversed here is worth paying attention to. This is not a library of a few backwards cymbal crashes. It is a comprehensive set of reversed sound effects drawn from a wide range of source materials, covering everyday objects, foley elements, vocal performances and designed sci-fi sounds.
Animated character voices, bubbles, creaky chair recordings, electric drills, football shot whooshes, geese calls, glass prop handling, gramophone recordings, hammering, impacts, lake activity, wave recordings, radio voices and typewriters all appear in their reversed form. The vocal section includes ghostly voices, haunting voices, male singing and reverberant whispering. The sci-fi section contributes reversed electric glitches and screaming beds running three minutes each.
The riser section gives the library its sharpest edge for trailer and cinematic work. Dark bass guitar stingers, horror guitar feedback risers, hydraulic jet pack builds, robotic screams, rusty metal groans and sci-fi vehicle pass-bys, all reversed, give you upward movement with a texture that forward recordings simply cannot replicate.
