About this asset

Pogo Stick Controller 2.0 is a complete, physics-driven pogo stick for Unity 6, with a cartoon rider who wobbles, flails and climbs back on when it all goes wrong. Bounce, flip and grind in the first minute, then play four ready-made game modes alone or with friends.

WEB DEMO COMING SOON!

🎯 RUNDOWN

The stick has a real spring at the tip. It squashes on every landing and throws you back into the air. Lean to steer, hold to charge a big jump, and release while the spring is squashed for a PERFECT pump.

Balancing feels like a broom on your hand: lean too far and the rider goes flying as a floppy ragdoll, then scrambles back onto the stick.

In the air, throw flips, spins, No-Handers, No-Footers and Supermans, land them cleanly to build combos, and grind along rails, roof ridges and slides. Land a flip badly? Faceplant!

🛠 EDITOR TOOLS

Everything lives in one Setup Window, so you never hunt through components.

  • Feel presets - start from Casual, Bouncy Chaos or Pro Pogo.
  • Plain-language sliders - one Silliness slider scales the comedy.
  • Rider setup - pick colours and skin tones, or choose your own character.
  • Rider Fitter - put your own character on your own pogo stick model, then line up feet, hands, hips, lean, knees and elbows with a live preview. Save it as a prefab.
  • Park Builder - click to place houses with flat, sloped or pitched roofs, slides, plank bridges, stairs, ramps, bowls and straight, angled or kinked rails. Templates, themes, lighting moods and a city backdrop.
  • Party page - set up players, colours and CPU riders for a match.
  • Validate page - checks your scene and fixes it in one click.

⚙️ BOUNCE IT, FLIP IT

  • Spring tip - progressive spring, auto-hop, charged big jump, PERFECT pump timing, brake and step-up onto ledges.
  • Balance - lean, wobble and a tipping point.
  • Ragdoll crashes - bad landings, hard hits, bodyslams and stomps, with a smooth get-up.
  • Air tricks - flips, spins, No-Hander, No-Footer and Superman, with a landing judge, combos and best scores.
  • Grind rails - and rider-vs-rider stomps with knockback.
  • Cartoon rider - googly eyes and a procedural body, no animation clips needed, with 7 colour presets and 8 skin tones.
  • Your own characters - any model with a Humanoid rig copies the rider's bouncy knees, floppy torso, windmilling arms, trick poses and ragdoll crashes. Pick the model in the Setup Window and click once.
  • Effects and sounds - dust, sparkles, dizzy stars and grind sparks, with built-in comedy sounds and slots for your own.

🎮 GAME MODES AND DEMO

  • Pogo Race - bounce to the top of Pogo Peak, a toy-block tower, against a ghost of your best run, with split times and medals.
  • Trick Park - a two-minute score attack in a toy skate park, with letters to collect and medals to win.
  • Pogo Park - bounce roof to roof in the city on a realistic pogo stick: slide down from a roof, ride a ridge, grind a long down rail.
  • Last One Bouncing - a party mode for up to 4 players and CPU riders, on hex tiles that crack and fall away under your feet.
  • Stomp the Tiles - land to paint the floor your colour, splash it with big jumps and steal your friends' tiles. Most of the floor wins.
  • Mode Menu - players join with their own keys or gamepad, pick colours and add CPU riders (Easy, Normal or Hard).
  • Course pieces - checkpoints, finish line, bouncers, moving and spinning platforms, collectibles and a HUD with a height meter.
  • 6 demo scenes, the Boingo and Mannequin rider prefabs and a realistic pogo stick.

Local multiplayer for up to 4 players: 2 on one keyboard plus gamepads.

👩‍💻 FOR DEVELOPERS

  • Clean C# - namespaced code with assembly definitions.
  • Events - for every bounce, landing, trick and crash.
  • Scripted input - drive the rider from your own code, with runtime presets and CPU riders you can send anywhere.
  • Your own modes - base classes give you the title card, countdown, results, medals and party line-ups.
  • Docs - Quick Start guide and full Documentation (PDF) included.
  • Pipelines and input - works with Built-in and URP (one-click material conversion), and with both the Input Manager and the Input System. The Input System is recommended, and needed for gamepads in local multiplayer.

Suitable for party games, arcade and casual games, obstacle courses, minigames and anything that needs a silly, bouncy character.
