Football Crowd covers the full emotional range of a British football match from the stands, recorded to give game audio, film and TV teams the crowd reactions they actually need. This goes much further than a generic cheer or a boo — every major crowd state is here in detail.
The library covers angry booing, sustained groaning, multiple anticipation builds, goal cheers, chanting, singing, half-time and full-time whistle reactions, and tannoy announcements. The applause section alone splits into separate variants for chanting, multiple voices, shouting, singing and walla, with a twelve-part numbered set for detailed layering. There is also a separate section of women's football crowd recordings, captured with the same level of coverage.
The distant recordings are worth noting separately. Distant applause, distant chanting and distant singing give the mixing engineer options for placing the crowd at different depths in the mix, from pitch-side right through to television broadcast distance.
