Not every Doppler pass-by needs to sound like a car. 344 SFX - Designed Dopplers is a movement library built from physical objects, instruments, and low-frequency designed sources, giving you pass-by sounds with real character rather than processed engine noise.
The library splits across three distinct approaches. The first uses recorded physical sources shaped into pass-bys: bicycle frames in gentle and metallic variants at fast and rapid speeds, antique objects with a brittle, tonal quality, bells with long organic decay, strings with a gritty swipe character, and thunder drums rolling through in fast, medium, and slow. Vehicle-style pass-bys are also included in distorted, rhythmic, and airy versions at multiple speeds. The second group draws from musical instruments. Vibraphone gives you slow and fast tonal pass-bys, a pulsating impact, a mysterious stinger, and a stuttering variant. Kalimba contributes bright and dark mysterious sounds with some including a stutter. Piano recordings include a sustained ascending note sequence and a sustained single tone. Sci-fi vehicles, whimsical sci-fi stingers, and beating tonal sounds processed from synthesis round out this group. The third approach covers low-frequency abstract movement: geophonic pass-bys with heavy sub energy, metal mass movement, stone shifter sounds with a grinding cinematic weight, and wind whooshes with added low end.
All sounds are fully metadata tagged and ready for Unity.
