About this asset

Input Debugger is a self-contained, always-available window for inspecting live Input System state while your game is actually running. Works in the Editor, in a development build, or (opt-in) in a shipped build. No setup, no wiring: drop the package in and press F1.

Eight panels cover everything you'd otherwise print to the console or step through in a debugger: every connected device with live connect/disconnect, a full visual keyboard that highlights each key as it's pressed, a gamepad view that automatically detects controllers types and shows their actual button shapes and labels instead of one generic scheme, a touch map, live values for your own InputActionAsset, InputUser/PlayerInput pairings for local multiplayer, and a timestamped event history, plus a Settings panel to adjust it all without leaving Play mode.

Need something even lighter? Minimal Mode. Strips away the window entirely and shows only a compact, self-clearing list of recently pressed buttons. Ideal for streaming, recording clips, or QA sessions where the full window would get in the way.

It compiles itself out of non-development builds by default, so there's no risk of shipping debug UI by accident.
