Bring your world to life in the rain.
This pack delivers a complete set of Shader Graph materials built for Unity's High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) and Universal Render Pipeline (URP), covering everything from puddled streets to open ocean under a storm. Every shader is fully exposed and parameter-driven, so you can dial in the exact look you need, from a light drizzle to a heavy downpour without touching a single node.
- Sea Water Shader : open ocean/sea water with depth-based shallow-to-deep color blending and dual-normal surface detail.
- Rainy Stream Shader : flowing water (rivers, streams, canals) with animated rain ripples and puddling layered on top.
- Rainy Ocean Shader :large-scale ocean water combined with directional wave simulation and a full rain ripple/puddle overlay.
- Rain Ripples Shader (opaque + transparent variants) : wet ground surfaces with animated rain ripples and puddle normal distortion, perfect for streets, sidewalks, and rooftops.
- Rain Drop Shader : A lightweight, standalone animated raindrop/ripple overlay for adding rain detail to any existing surface.
NOTE : THE SCENE USED FOR PRESENTATION VIDEO AND SCREEN SHOTS IS NOT AVAILABLE IN ASSET PACKAGE. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD PRESENTATION SCENE HERE
NOTE: RAINFALL PARTICLES USED IN ASSET ARE RAIN VFX AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN PACK
NOTE : YOU HAVE TO ADJUST THE SHADER PROPERTIES FOR EVERY POST PROCESSING IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE BEST RESULTS
Key Features
- Built entirely in Shader Graph — fully node-based and editable
- Targets HDRP and URP for physically-based, high-fidelity rendering
- Animated ripples, puddles, and flow, all speed and tiling values exposed
- Independent ripple and puddle distortion layers for fine control over wetness
- Depth-based water coloring (deep/shallow blending) for streams and oceans
- Wave direction, frequency, height, and peak controls for ocean surfaces
- Adjustable Metallic and Smoothness for everything from dull wet concrete to glossy reflective puddles
- Transparent variants for layering rain effects over existing ground materials
- No code required, very effect is controlled through the material Inspector
Great For

- Urban environments with wet streets and puddles
- Rivers, streams, canals, and waterfalls
- Ocean and open-water scenes
- Cutscenes and cinematic weather transitions
- Any HDRP project that needs believable wet or rainy surfaces
Requirements
- Unity (HDRP, URP and CRP project)
- Shader Graph package
- No external dependencies
