Electric tools get most of the attention in construction sound libraries, but hand tools and measuring equipment are just as important on a working site. 344 SFX - Construction Hand Tools covers the unpowered and manual side of a construction toolkit.
The tape gun is the largest section, with handling, taping boxes, unravelling, stretching, and removing tape across a range of takes. A ratchet clip is recorded in single, double, and triple turn variants across a large number of individual takes, plus longer multi-turn sequences and handling sounds. A silicone gun gives you handling and trigger-pumping sounds. Industrial scissors cover cutting mesh tape, cutting sandpaper, general cutting, and large scissor handling. A spirit level and set square are both recorded in handling and active use, with the set square also covering drawing a pencil line. Shovel sounds include scooping and throwing gravel and loading a wheelbarrow. Wire cutters, a workbench vice, a paint roller on walls and ceiling, hammer nailing wood, and a hand saw cutting at fast and slow speeds complete the collection.
