About this asset

🔍 Find Edit Collisions Early

Editor Collision Guard helps your team find overlapping edits before a Git merge.

It compares your committed work with a saved upstream branch. It then shows files, objects, components, and properties changed on both sides.

✅ See Clear Evidence

Each result shows where the edits overlap. Supported results can show the base, local, and upstream values.

Unsupported files and missing evidence stay in separate groups, so the results are easier to understand.

🛡️ Read-Only and Safe

The tool only reads local Git data. It does not fetch files, contact a remote server, edit assets, or change your Git project.
