About this asset
An Android build can contain native .so libraries from project assets, embedded Unity packages, cached packages, or SDK archives. When a release check reports a 16 KB page-size problem, identifying the failing file is only the first step. You still need to work out where it entered the Unity project and what evidence to send to your team or SDK vendor.
Android 16KB Source Doctor brings that local evidence into one read-only Unity Editor workflow.
Inspect native-library evidence
• Scan supported, accessible .so files in a Unity project.
• Inspect native-library entries inside AAR, ZIP, APK, and AAB containers.
• Review ABI, file size, SHA-256, and ELF64 little-endian PT_LOAD.p_align evidence.
• Keep same-name libraries distinct by source path and content hash.
Trace local origins without guessing
• Identify Unity project and embedded-package locations.
• Read local package.json evidence from PackageCache packages.
• Retain archive context and bounded EDM4U dependency clues.
• Separate known, partial, ambiguous, and unknown origins so uncertain evidence remains explicit.
Export and compare evidence
• Export JSON, CSV, and Markdown reports.
• Save a scan before an SDK update and compare it with a later scan.
• Review added, removed, hash-changed, and status-changed libraries.
Learn the workflow safely
Use the optional Quick Start to generate only non-executable synthetic ELF header examples in the system temporary directory. Review compatible, incompatible, unsupported, origin, report, and before/after examples, then clear the marked demo directory explicitly.
Local and read-only by design
The tool runs in the Editor and does not add Player code. It has no runtime dependency, cloud database, account requirement, telemetry, or network service. Scanning does not modify input libraries. Reports are written only when you choose an output location.
Tested compatibility
The exact version 1.0.0 package was clean-imported, compiled, and independently tested on Windows with Unity 2022.3.62f1c1, China branch. All 32 independent EditMode tests passed.
Important scope
This product reports local evidence. It does not repair, rebuild, replace, upgrade, download, upload, or submit binaries, and it never guarantees Google Play approval or physical-device behavior.

Technical details
Features
• Scan direct .so files and native libraries inside AAR, ZIP, APK, and AAB containers.
• Review ABI, SHA-256, and ELF64 little-endian PT_LOAD.p_align evidence.
• Trace project, embedded-package, PackageCache, archive, and bounded EDM4U clues.
• Keep known, partial, ambiguous, and unknown origins explicitly separated.
• Export JSON, CSV, and Markdown reports and compare before/after scans.
• Editor-only and read-only, with no runtime, account, cloud, telemetry, or network dependency.
• Safe non-executable synthetic Quick Start.
Supported OS
Windows.
Tested Unity version
Unity 2022.3.62f1c1, China branch, on Windows. Standard global Unity 2022.3.62f1, other patches, Unity 6, macOS, Linux, Tuanjie Engine, physical Android devices, and the formal store-delivered package are not claimed as tested.
Dependencies
None. Android Build Support is not required for scanning supported local files.
Documentation
README, Quick Start, installation instructions, changelog, license, and Third Party Notices are included.
Limitations
Only ELF64 little-endian program headers are evaluated. p_align evidence alone cannot prove physical-device behavior. The tool does not resolve Maven graphs, Gradle conflicts, manifests, R8 rules, SDK runtime behavior, or Play Console status.
