While working on a variety of environments, I used many different Prefab Painter tools. Each of them had useful features, but none included everything I regularly needed. One had a great object placement system, another let you mix different prefabs together, and another offered advanced physics-based scattering, but I never found a tool that combined all of those features in one place.
That's why I decided to build my own solution. Placement Suite was created to bring together the features I actually use in my everyday workflow when placing objects in a scene. As both a Level Designer and Level Artist, I built these tools based on my experience working on real projects.
Seta Prefab Painter makes placing prefabs on terrains and other models much faster by eliminating the need to manually position every object. You can either paint objects with a brush or let the tool place them automatically on selected surfaces taking visibility or available space into account. With support for physics, surface slope control, and painting on any object, you can quickly create natural looking environments.
Seta Terrain Detail Painter makes it easy to create natural looking vegetation on terrains, giving you full control over the density, distribution, and proportions of individual details. By limiting painting to selected Terrain Layers, you can easily prevent grass from appearing on paths, sand, or other unwanted surfaces. Painting is performed on an adjustable cell grid, allowing you to define the exact number of details per cell and avoid the random clumping often seen with Unity's built-in Paint Details tool. Supports Mesh Detail (HDRP & URP) and Grass Texture (URP)
I created Placement Suite mainly to speed up my own work, and I hope it will save you a lot of time when creating environments too:)

The videos are examples of what you can do with Placement Suite in combination with other assets. Terrain textures, materials, and 3D models shown in the videos are not included with this package, and you can find them here:

p.s. these tools include the options I use most often but if something's missing, I'm happy to add it in future updates:)
