About this asset
This is an original set of movement and combat pixel art knight animations, made for 2D topdown games, though could be used for sidescrollers too. All animations except for awake and dead have variants in 4 directions (left, right, down/front, up/back), and depending on the given animation also in different equipment variants.
Sprites were exported at 500% resolution. This means that whatever PPU you're going for, just set the sprite PPU to 5x that amount. For a 32 by 32 tilemap, if you're looking for perfectly consistent pixel size, 160 is the right value. However by default it is set for 200 as that makes him about exactly the size of a 32x32 tile.
CONTENTS
*the letters in the brackets indicate which variants the animation has (B = bare, Sw - sword, Sh - sword & shield)
Main animations :

- Idle (B, Sw, Sh)

- Dash (B, Sw, Sh)
- Attack (Sw, Sh)
- Dash attack (Sw, Sh)
- Light blast (Sw, Sh)
- Block (Sh)
- Projectile

Single frame :
- Successful block (Sh)

Awake and dead are the only two which only have left and right variants. There's also a light sword projectile included to go with the light blast animations, where the knight fires it out of his sword serving as a ranged attack. All animations are showcased in the included video from my own small project. Lastly, there's a few sword and shield sprites for you to use if you want to implement progression where you pick said item up.
