Sky Forge Weather OFFICIAL SALE

SkyForge Weather

A living sky that does not eat your frame budget.

⚡ Light by design

The entire system runs in under a tenth of a millisecond of CPU time per frame. Not a folder of managers and helper objects: one component, ten modules, and anything you switch off costs you nothing. No extra packages, no dependencies, no setup wizard chain. Add the component, press Play, and the sun rises.

🧭 You can actually understand it

Every setting is explained on screen, above the control, in plain English. No hunting through tooltips, no guessing what a slider does. Most people have the whole system figured out in about ten minutes, and the ones who want to go deeper have full C# source with no DLLs.

☀️ A sky that behaves like a sky

Rayleigh and Mie scattering give real sunrise and sunset colour with no hand painted gradients. The sun and moon follow proper celestial paths from your latitude, longitude and date, so midsummer and midwinter genuinely look different.

🌙 Nights worth looking at

Real moon phases, and two orbit modes: keep the moon up all night for gameplay, or follow the true 29.5 day cycle for realism. Drop in your own star and galaxy cubemaps for a milky way across the sky, or use the built in procedural stars.

☁️ Real volumetric clouds, with the controls to afford them

Raymarched clouds with temporal accumulation, not a scrolling texture. Fly up through them and they hold together.

Volumetric clouds are the one genuinely expensive part of any sky system, so SkyForge does the work to keep them cheap. Pixels hidden behind your terrain are never raymarched. Empty sky is skipped in large steps. Lighting calculations stop once a cloud is thick enough to hide what is behind it. Distant cloud is sampled more coarsely, because that detail is smaller than a pixel anyway.

On top of that you get direct control: raymarch steps, light steps, step growth, horizon fade and resolution scale. Tune it for a high end PC or drop it to a comfortable floor for weaker hardware.

🌦️ 17 weather presets, including the unusual ones

Clear, partly cloudy, overcast, light rain, thunderstorm, snow, dust storm and foggy morning. Then the exotic set: radiation haze, acid rain, ashfall, swamp mist, sandstorm, blizzard, toxic smog, crimson fog and eerie fog. Weather blends smoothly between states, and a scheduler can run through them on its own.

🌫️ Fog that fogs the sky too

Most fog only touches solid objects, which leaves you standing in thick fog under a clear blue sky. SkyForge fogs the sky as well, with a height control for anything from low lying mist to a completely closed in day.

⚡ Storms

Automatic lightning with randomised strike positions, and thunder that arrives after a delay based on distance, so a storm feels like it is moving around the player.

🤝 Plays well with others

SkyForge drives Unity's Sun Source, so third party water, vegetation and weather assets follow your day and night correctly instead of staying stuck in daylight.
