PackSmith is a Unity Editor utility for checking imported asset packs before you rely on them in a real project.
Use it when you buy a pack, import a downloaded folder, scan a selected Project folder, or run a broader project cleanup pass. PackSmith turns the scan into a clear verdict: what blocks use, what may break visuals, what needs review, and what can be safely fixed.
For buyers, PackSmith helps catch broken references, missing materials, shader/render-pipeline risks, prefab problems, collider gaps, texture import issues, audio import concerns, suspicious files, long paths, package debris, and missing setup context.
For publishers, PackSmith includes a Publisher QA preflight for documentation, dependencies, compatibility disclosure, samples/demo content, package hygiene, third-party notice risk, and store-readiness issues.
Scans are read-only. Safe fixes are explicit, backed up, and followed by proof reports so changes can be reviewed and rolled back.
PackSmith is genre-agnostic and works best with art, prefab, texture, audio, VFX, environment, prop, character, and mixed-content asset packs.
