About this asset

Gun Synth is a 100% procedural, real-time weapon audio engine built natively in Unity.

Instead of playing back static audio files, Gun Synth calculates every shot on the fly using it's dedicated DSP modules, giving you chest-thumping, mix-cutting weapon sounds with no audio fatigue. When players hear the same sample on loop, they stop noticing it; when every shot is synthesized fresh, they keep feeling it.

Every parameter is exposed and tweakable at runtime:

Wavefolding for over-driven, saturated blasts.

Pitch & decay shaping for anything from a tight pistol snap to a slow rifle crack.

Seed-based variation so no two shots sound identical, even at high fire rates.

Dial in a hollow, ringing bolt-action. Crank the distortion for a sci-fi hand cannon. Adjust on the fly without touching a single audio file.

Lightweight, real-time, and built for games where weapons need to feel as good as they look.

Technical details

  • Zero Asset Bloat: Say goodbye to folders full of massive WAV files. Because every sound is generated by pure math in real-time, the memory footprint is practically zero. Perfect for mobile or keeping build sizes tiny.
  • Infinite "No-Repeat" Variations: Built-in randomization means no two shots ever sound exactly the same, completely curing the repetitive "machine-gun effect."
  • Sounds Huge on Any Device: We baked in some mastering tricks to ensures the chest-thumping bass of your weapons translates perfectly, sounding just as punchy on a mobile phone speaker as it does on high-end gaming headphones.
  • 4-Part Sound Design: Sculpt your ultimate weapon by tweaking four simple layers: the mechanical pin click, the sharp body crack, the chaotic gas blast, and the heavy bass thump.
  • Visual Sound Stage: Includes a custom UI editor tool. Tweak sliders, test fire, and design new guns visually without writing a single line of code.
  • Blazing Fast: Highly optimized and 100% allocation-free (no garbage collection lag spikes), making it safe for the most chaotic, bullet-hell shootouts.

Instead of blindly guessing random numbers, we use a "seed-based" system. Every time you pull the trigger, the engine generates a unique numerical seed that applies tiny, organic tweaks to things like the pitch, the length of the blast, and the depth of the bass. This gives you infinite, non-repeating variations that completely eliminate audio fatigue during heavy firefights.
