Aul (Female): Canine Spirit of Parahyangan
The howl from the cliffs of Parahyangan finds a new voice!
Expanding on the dark folklore of West Java, Indonesia, we present the Female Aul (Aul Betina). Like her male counterpart, the Aul is a feared "siluman" (spirit beast) known for inhabiting the deep forests and steep ravines of the Parahyangan highlands.
According to local legends, the Aul is a nocturnal creature with the body of a human and the head of a dog. While they are known to prey on livestock like wild goats, their eerie cry of "Aul...!" under the full moon strikes fear into the hearts of villagers.
This asset depicts the female variant of this creature, featuring a female humanoid anatomy blended with the iconic, menacing canine head. Whether used as a terrifying matriarch of a spirit pack, a unique boss encounter, or a distinct NPC in your cultural adventure game, the Female Aul adds depth and variety to your creature roster.
