About this asset

**SpriteForge turns 3D models into 2D sprite sheets that look hand-made.** Drop in a model, press Fit to Model, pick a look, and bake every direction and animation into sliced, named sprites, ready for your game.

# New in 2.0

- **Crisp pixel art.** Each pixel takes the color of the material that covers most of it, with hard edges. No blurry in-between shades, no grey fringe.

- **Pixel lines** on the silhouette, where parts overlap and where surfaces fold, shaded like a pixel artist would.

- **Auto palette** picked from your model and shared by every frame, or nine retro console palettes with dithering.

- **Light bands, rim light and fill light** with lighting presets.

- **Normal maps for URP 2D lights**, attached to your sprites automatically.

- **Animation clips and an Animator Controller** with direction blend trees.

- **Fit to Model**: one click frames everything and keeps the model's real size (1 unit = 1 metre).

- **Built-in Render Pipeline** support alongside URP. Materials made for the other pipeline bake correctly instead of pink.

- **Even outlines** in any color and thickness, including white sticker outlines for items.

- A redesigned editor with a live preview that plays, spins and compares the 3D render with the finished sprite.
