◼TideMesh – Endless Ocean ◼

Gorgeous ocean asset with built-in buoyancy, underwater effects, and simple setup. Drop the water in, press play, and start floating props, boats, or debris—no scripting required.

◼ Key Features ◼

Premade Ocean Templates provide drop-in looks from calm to stormy with balanced scale, color, and wave behavior.

One-Click Buoyancy floats props and boats with natural bob and tilt—just one click.

Weather System smoothly blends the ocean from calm to stormy, creating seamless in-game transitions.

Underwater Fog adds depth and atmosphere below the surface, with seamless tinting when the camera crosses the waterline.

Optimized for performance using Fast Fourier Transforms (FFT) to create a realistic and efficient ocean.

Dynamic Tessellation adds crisp detail up close and trims it at a distance, keeping horizons smooth and clean.

Inclusion & exclusion zones define where the ocean is active, enabling sharp, well-defined lakes, shorelines, and cutouts.

Splash Events enable customizable splash effects when floating objects hit the water.

Optimized Culling – Tiles follow the camera and are culled outside the view, delivering an endless ocean with minimal draw calls.

Fully Configurable Lighting Shaders enable full creative control to match any art direction with little effort.

Simple Setup delivers a playable ocean in minutes with sensible defaults and concise steps.

Technical details

Ocean details

  • Buoyancy: drop-in component for any Rigidbody.
  • Inclusion & exclusion zones: use point-based polygons to easily define where the ocean is rendered, creating sharp, well-defined lakes, shorelines, and cutouts.
  • Fully customizable shape and lighting with included templates.
  • Weather: linearly blends wave energy distributions over time to smoothly transition between sea states (calm → stormy).
  • Underwater fog: customizable fog adds depth and atmosphere below the surface, with seamless tinting as the camera crosses the waterline.
  • Tessellation: adaptive, distance-based GPU tessellation for Water asset.
  • Splash events: spawn smooth, customizable splash effects when floating objects hit the water.
  • Fast Fourier Transform (FFT): quickly breaks complex water motion into simple waves, updates them in parallel, then blends them back together, delivering natural results.
