Isometric Navigation | Game Creator 2

Please note! This asset is dependent on Game Creator 2 and requires it to function.


Another note: this is not a pathfinding package, it is heavily relies on built-in NavMesh navigation system. However, you can use any custom pathfinding asset in module to compute path before visualization.


The Isometric Navigation System is a modular and flexible solution for visualization of the navigation path in Unity, designed specifically to integrate seamlessly with Game Creator 2. Ideal for strategy, RPG, and board game developers, this system provides a variety of the ways to preview and track character movement path. It was inspired by games such as Baldur's Gates 3 and Xcom.


With Isometric Navigation, you can easily define how the planned path will look like and trigger events on movement started/ended and during it!

The system integrates smoothly with Game Creator 2, enabling you to quickly set up and manage multiple path previews within your Game Creator environment. 


What it does

  • Easy Integration with Game Creator 2: Fully compatible with Game Creator 2 for streamlined setup.
  • Manage Path Building: Use any kind of path builder mechanism (NavMesh is default)
  • Chose Visualization style: Is it an individual steps or a solid line - this package can handle any kind of it.
  • Events and Instructions: This package contains multiple useful events, getters and instructions to have full control over it.
  • Conditional Areas: Visualize the danger zones of the enemies or traps during path building.
