Frame Generation is a rendering technique that generates entirely new intermediate frames between rendered frames using motion data and AI prediction. Instead of only increasing resolution like upscaling, Frame Generation directly increases the displayed framerate by synthesising additional frames.


By using Frame Generation, your project can effectively double or even triple its framerate without requiring the CPU or GPU to fully render those extra frames. This makes it especially powerful in scenarios where the project is CPU limited, since the CPU does not need to simulate or submit additional draw calls for the generated frames.

If your project is GPU limited, Frame Generation can still significantly increase smoothness by reducing perceived frame time and improving motion clarity. When combined with upscaling, the GPU workload per rendered frame is lower while the displayed framerate is much higher. An additional benefit is improved power efficiency, as fewer fully rendered frames are required, which is particularly advantageous for laptops and other power constrained devices.


All of our Frame Generation assets are fully standalone and do not require any of our other assets, but they integrate seamlessly and perform even better when used together.


🌀Easy to use

Frame Generation has been designed for straightforward integration, with clear and extensive documentation guiding you through setup and configuration.


FSR 4 Frame Generation includes both FSR 4 Frame Generation and FSR 3 Frame Generation. While FSR 4 Frame Generation currently only runs on AMD 9000 series GPUs and newer, the asset will automatically fallback to FSR 3 Frame Generation on all other GPU’s, no matter which brand.

Compound your performance increase with one of our upscaler assets: FSR 3, FSR 4 Redstone, DLSS 4, XeSS 2, SGSR 1, SGSR 2. While Upscalers best work when a project is GPU bound, Frame Generation works no matter wether you have a CPU or GPU bottleneck. This means that the using both Upscalers and Frame Generation compound your performance boost!
