If you see pink squares instead of the scene/prefab particle effects, it means:
- You've selected the wrong project type (the correct one is Universal 2D).
- A sprite is missing – go to the prefab → Renderer → in the "Material" field, you'll see missing sprite info. Click the dot next to it and choose a material with a matching name to the particle system.
