ByteProtector is a lightweight anti-cheat for Android™, written in C/C++.


Unlike basic alternatives, ByteProtector provides advanced, low-level protection to ensure game integrity and security.

  • Detect Injection (External Injectors & Zygisk): Identifies unauthorized code injections from external sources and the Zygisk Injection framework.
  • Debuggers (IDA Pro, gdb, ...): Prevents debugging tools like IDA Pro and other debuggers from tampering with your game.
  • Game Guardian: Detects usage of GameGuardian
  • Game Killer: Detects usage of Game Killer
  • Emulators: Detects when your game is being run on an emulator instead of a physical device, helping to prevent cheating.
  • Root: Identifies rooted devices that could bypass standard security measures.
  • Xposed (Injection framework & no root implementation): Detects the Xposed framework and its modules, which can modify the behavior of your game, even without root access.
  • Self Integrity Checks: Ensures that the anti-cheat system itself has not been tampered with or altered.
