Everything Localization - Full Text Localization: RTL, Outline, Placeholders

Localization without the learning curve

Everything Localization is designed for developers who want to make their games multilingual without learning a complicated localization framework.

There are no String Tables, Addressables workflows, online accounts, or external services to configure. Define your languages, attach the appropriate Localize component, select a translation key, and preview the result directly in the Unity Editor.

Whether you are creating your first multilingual game or simply want a faster workflow, Everything Localization keeps the process visual, straightforward, and easy to understand.

🚀 The Simple Workflow

  1. Add your languages, writing directions, and font assets.
  2. Attach a Localize component to the object you want to localize.
  3. Create or select a translation key from the Inspector.
  4. Preview every configured language without entering Play mode.
  5. Switch languages at runtime with one method call.

No coding is required for ordinary scene-based localization. A simple API is available for dynamic text and audio.

🌍 Text and RTL localization

Localize both UI and 3D TextMesh Pro components:

  • TextMeshPro
  • TextMeshProUGUI
  • RTLTextMeshPro
  • RTLTextMeshPro3D

Text-localization features include:

  • LTR and RTL writing directions
  • Integrated Arabic and Persian text rendering through RTLTMPro
  • A different TextMesh Pro font asset for each language
  • Reusable outline presets with custom colors and thicknesses
  • Static translation keys selected from the Inspector
  • Dynamic translation keys selected through code
  • Runtime placeholders
  • Multiline translations
  • Keyless text with language-specific fonts, outlines, and direction settings
  • Immediate language previews in the Inspector

🖼️ Localize more than text

Localization often requires adapting the complete interface, not just replacing words. Everything Localization includes dedicated components for language-specific images, audio, layouts, and positions.

Images:

  • Image
  • RawImage
  • SpriteRenderer

Audio:

  • Store one AudioClip per language under a shared ID
  • Retrieve the correct clip for the active language with one method call
  • Suitable for dialogue, narration, tutorials, and other localized audio

Layouts:

  • GridLayoutGroup
  • HorizontalLayoutGroup
  • VerticalLayoutGroup
  • Store language-specific alignment and ordering
  • Reverse UI arrangements for RTL interfaces

Positions:

  • Store different Transform positions for each language
  • Store different RectTransform positions and sizes
  • Capture and preview each language’s values from the Inspector

Simple translation management

Translations are stored in an accessible CSV file and can be managed directly from the Unity Editor.

You can:

  • Add and edit translations
  • Search existing keys and values
  • Select keys from Localize components
  • Delete unused entries
  • Preview translations for every configured language
  • Edit the CSV externally when preferred

All localization data remains inside your Unity project. No internet connection, cloud account, subscription, or translation API is required.

Designed for practical game development

Everything Localization was created and further developed while localizing published games. Its workflow focuses on the requirements commonly encountered by solo developers and small teams:

  • Translated UI and game text
  • Runtime values and placeholders
  • Language-specific fonts
  • Arabic and Persian text
  • Localized images and dialogue
  • Mirrored RTL layouts
  • UI elements requiring different positions or sizes between languages

The package includes six example scenes covering text, runtime text, images, audio, layout groups, and transform localization.
