About this asset
A simple board made of 64 black and white squares and 16 pieces for each player is all you need to create one of the oldest and greatest games in history; it has been enjoyed by the rich and the poor, young and old, male and female alike for generations.

The set contains a base tri-mesh for every model:
- 1 Table/Chessboard.
- 1 King.
- 1 Queen.

And we also provide you with a full set of 4K PNG textures (4096px * 4069px) for each model that include:
- 6 Base Colors Maps (1 Base Color Map for the Board).
- 2 Normal Maps.
- 2 Ambient Occlusion Maps.
- 1 Height Map.
- 1 Metallic Map.
- 1 Roughness Map.
- 2 Packed ARM (AO, Roughness, Metallic) Maps.
You can play the calssic white against black, or mix it up a little and use one of the other colors that come with the package, red against blue, yellow vs green or any kind of match you desire!

Technical details
Every piece comes with 6 different prefabs, each one textured with a different color for you to set up your matches however you see fit; you will also have a folder that contains all the PBR materials which use the Autodesk Interactive Shader, and a folder with the textures in case you want to set them up differently or tweak them in any way.
All models have been carefully modeled following the measurements recommended by the FIDE (International Chess Federation):
- King: height= 9,5 cm. / ⌀= 4,37 cm.
- Queen:height= 8,5 cm. / ⌀= 3,91 cm.
- Bishop:height= 7 cm. / ⌀= 3,22 cm.
- Knight:height= 6 cm. / ⌀= 2,76 cm.
- Rook: height= 5,5 cm. / ⌀= 2,53 cm.
- Pawn: height= 5 cm. / ⌀= 2,3 cm.
- Table: height= 74 cm. / width= 75 cm. / length= 53 cm.
- Squares: 5,6 cm x 5,6 cm.
Poly count is as follows:
- King: polygons= 8.156 / verts= 4.082
- Queen: polygons= 11.258 / verts= 5.633
- Bishop:polygons= 9.226 / verts= 4.644
