  • Apply Texture Offsets for random crops or graphic symbols.
  • Apply generated colors to materials or even custom patterns with the SignColorReplace shader.
  • Runtime Prefab Placer for randomly generated procedural content
  • Randomly Toggle accessories or variants on sign templates.
  • Modern Low-poly city and Role Playing Game PBR sign templates included
  • Easy to build your own template prefabs to fit with your art style.
  • "Customizer" system to configure sign generation without scripting

Use the sign generator and included templates (or make your own) to quickly add variety and details to the level design process.

Sign Generator is meant to be used with one of two workflows: In the Level Design workflow, a game developer uses Sign Generator to quickly place and generate signs in a level, but those signs do not change at runtime. This workflow can be a quick way to add variety and detail to an authored level.

In the Runtime Generation workflow, a game developer uses Sign Generator to place prefabs in their level that will be replaced at runtime with randomly generated signs. This workflow is best for games with procedural levels, such as an infinite runner style game.

Don't forget, these procedural tools are useful for any kind of randomization and generation, not just signs!

Asset uses fonts "Old London" and "Art Brush" fonts, under Free for Commercial Use license; see Third-Party Notices.txt file in package for details.
