A. Yes. Although this project is designed to work out of the box with 2d games, you can easily change the paremeters of the Unity Particle Systems to suit your project needs.

Q. Can I use this for mobile?

A. Yes. I have heard many developers talk about how well it works on mobile. Many of the VFX rely on a shader to handle the animations, or a small handful of animated frames. Which keeps the VFX prefabs very light weight.
