Easy Align

Easy align is a tool aimed towards environment artists, level designers, and anyone tired of dealing with Transform components. Easy Align provides a new window that will help you instantly align groups of Transforms to the same position at the press of a button.

For example, nstead of typing specific coordinates to align a group of pillars in a level, simply select them, then press three buttons to align them to the same height, align them in a row, then distribute them evenly accross your environment.

Easy Align provides two main features, an alignment editor and context commands.

Easy Align Editor

The Easy Align editor provides tools for aligning and distributing objects in both 2D and 3D. The editor is designed with the user in mind, utilizing modern UI design principles to make the tool a pleasure to use. Each button features a custom icon for clarity, and hovering your mouse cursor over buttons will display a preview of their function.

Transform Context Menu

In the spirit of it's name, Easy Align provides easily accessible commands in the context menu of the Transform Component that allow you to quickly snap a group of objects to the same coordinate without the need to ever open the Easy Align editor.
