About this asset

NEW in 5.1 — 127 new filters (363 total) + a playable demo. The complete depth-driven 3D family (Matrix, Snow, Fireflies, Lightning Storm…), cinematic Lens flares & anamorphics, Depth effects including Tilt Shift, Retro CRT/PSX/Game Boy looks, new Glitch, Atmosphere, Film and Screen Space effects — every one a native URP Volume component. And step into SUBLEVEL 3: a playable VHS found-footage horror demo built entirely with the pack. One click to build, F9 to roll a director's cut.

Camera Filter Pack v5 brings 236 full-screen camera filters to the Universal Render Pipeline, completely rebuilt around Unity's native Volume system. If you know how to use Bloom or Vignette, you already know how to use every single filter in this pack.

Three steps, zero code:

  1. Open the Setup window and click Install on URP Renderer — one click, done.
  2. Click Create Global Volume in Scene.
  3. Add Override → Post-processing → Camera Filter Pack → pick an effect and raise its Intensity.

Every effect exposes the same universal Intensity slider (enabled by default): 0 = off and costs nothing, 1 = full effect, anything in between is a true visual cross-fade. Because everything is a native VolumeComponent, you get global volumes, local trigger zones with smooth blend distance, priorities, per-camera volume masks and per-parameter blending — for all 236 effects, out of the box. Animate any parameter from Timeline, blend it across zones, or drive it from a single line of C#.

Fully customizable, for every genre:

  • Horror & action — a dedicated Blood family (hit indicators, splatters, hell vision), night vision 1-5, thermal vision, sniper scope
  • Retro & arcade — a huge TV family: real VHS with tape noise, CRT arcade, scanlines, 8-bit, glitches, old film
  • Stylized & toon — 24 Drawing effects: manga, comics, cel shading, pencil, paper, blueprint
  • Atmosphere & weather — rain, snow, blizzard, fog, water drops on the lens
  • Cinematic — color grades, film grain, vignettes, blurs, sharpen, distortions, dreamy visions

About 30 effects ship with bundled textures (film strips, broken glass, blood splats…) wired automatically — and each one exposes a Texture parameter so you can swap in your own. Everything ships in your build automatically: no Resources folder, no shader-stripping surprises, nothing to configure.

Includes 3 example scenes (one is an interactive browser that cycles all 236 filters in Play mode) and documentation in English, 中文, 日本語 and 한국어.

⚠ Requires Unity 6 (6000.0+) with URP 17+. Built-in RP and HDRP are not supported. v5 is a complete URP rewrite: the legacy Built-in components were removed (see changelog).

Technical details

  • 363 full-screen filters organized in 21 logical families (TV 37, FX 30, Drawing 24, Color 24, Vision 23, Distortion 19, Blur 13, Gradients 10, Atmosphere 9, Glitch 8, Blood 7, Pixelisation 6, Edge 6, Light 4, Film 4, Noise 3, Broken 3, Glasses 2, EXTRA 2, Sharpen 1, Antialiasing 1)
  • Native Unity Volume workflow: one VolumeComponent per effect — global/local volumes, blend distance, priority, weight, per-camera Volume Mask, per-parameter interpolation
  • Universal Intensity (0–1) on every effect, enabled by default; a uniform shader branch makes full-strength effects pay zero cost for the blend feature
  • One renderer feature + one-click Setup window (install, create volume, docs — no manual configuration)
  • Optimized URP-only shaders: single-pass full-screen blits, no legacy fallback sub-shaders, pruned parameters — smaller builds, faster imports
  • Depth-aware effects (fog, 3D rain, deep oil paint) request the camera depth texture only while active
  • Build-safe by design: a library asset referenced by the renderer feature guarantees all shaders & default textures ship in player builds — no Resources folder
  • ~30 texture-based effects with bundled defaults + replaceable Texture parameter per Volume
  • Scripting: standard VolumeProfile API (TryGet, Add, intensity.Override(x)) — Timeline & tween friendly
  • Fully relocatable folder; assembly definitions version-gated so the pack imports cleanly even without URP
  • 3 example scenes including an interactive 236-filter browser
  • Documentation in EN / 中文 / 日本語 / 한국어
  • Requirements: Unity 6000.0+, URP 17+ (Built-in RP / HDRP not supported)
