Can be configured to record the selection of scene objects and/or project assets.
Becomes available under the Window->General->Selection History menu.

Technical details
✅ This asset is also backwards compatible with Unity 2019.4.
Unfortunately it's not possible to map keyboard buttons to the previous/next keys. Editor windows aren't able to subscribe to input events happening outside of themselves.
