Tested in Unity 2018.4.8f1 and 2019.4.0f1 versions. NOTE: versions earlier than 2018.4 don't work properly with the project.


Overview:


Create your own racetrack selecting the track pieces from the side menu and placing it in the terrain.

Then, hit the play button to drive in it with AI bots. You can also save up to 3 tracks to load it later.

Finally, you can decorate the tracks with various game objects. These objects are customizable so you can put your own 3D models to create authentic tracks with your own cars too.

Main Features:

Real-Time Positioning System: Each car works as a distance meter from the last passed checkpoint.


AI Waypoint: The AI bots route it's created automatically when you finish the track course.


Full Racing UI: Laps, race time, position, pause menu and start race countdown.


Sequentiality Checkpoint System: Counts the laps once that you passed all the checkpoints


Mobile Support: Controls on-screen, and automatic performance optimization, compatible with Android & iOS. Watch the demonstration [here].


Settings Menu: Change the Master/SFX audio volume, the graphics quality and screen resolution.


Select the amount of laps and AI bots.


Create the course track with different straights and turns and undo the last placed object.


Decorate your track with various 3D models:


Drag the decoration objects around the track or delete them.


Save up to 3 racetracks to load them later and edit or play them.

Final information:

The project is coded in C# and scripts are commented to customize it easily. Also, there's a complete PDF documentation and a lot of videos to start to work with it fast and customize it to your own.


Cars models are from racoon media 3D vehicle asset pt1 and map environment models were made by Kenney Assets. Unity Standard Assets components are used in this project as placeholders for car physics, particles, and more.
