🚀 HOW IT WORKS
1. Enter your Asset Store invoice number (from your purchase confirmation email) and click Verify.
2. Drag a Humanoid character into the Character slot (any Mixamo, Synty, RPM, or custom Humanoid rig works).
3. Type your motion prompt, e.g. "a person waves with their right hand."
4. Click GENERATE.
5. The cloud AI generates motion data, retargets it to Unity Humanoid, and returns an FBX.
6. The FBX is downloaded to Assets/PromptMotion/Generated/, imported with correct rig settings, previewed inside the editor window with full transport controls (play/pause/scrub/speed/loop).
7. Click APPLY TO CHARACTER and the clip is wired into your character's AnimatorController, ready to play.
Or — skip the generation entirely and drag one of the 5 included starter animations onto your Humanoid character. Works offline, works whenever you don't want to spend a generation.
⚠️ WHAT'S INCLUDED VS NOT INCLUDED
PromptMotion produces full-body motion for any Humanoid rig. Specifically what's covered:
✅ Body motion — torso, head, arms, legs, hips
✅ Foot contacts and grounded locomotion
✅ Root motion (translation through space)
✅ Humanoid retargeting onto your existing characters
Not included (be aware before buying):
❌ Finger animation — hands stay in their default rest pose
❌ Facial expressions — generated clips do not include face/blendshape data
❌ Lip sync or speech-driven animation
❌ Bundled character models — you bring your own Humanoid rig
If your project needs detailed finger or facial animation, plan to layer those in separately (e.g. via Animation Rigging, Final IK, or a face-tracking solution).
