Toolkit for Physics

Toolkit for Physics is a comprehensive collection of physics-based tools and systems designed to add realistic and engaging physics effects to your game. These tools work with Unity's built-in Physics behaviours and systems and provide you with easy-to-use APIs, structs and scripts enabling you to Do More!

Ballistics

Our Ballistics system offers complete control over projectile trajectory with options to set arc height, ground speed, launch velocity, and more. The tool supports both a realistic and accurate trajectory model as well as a "fantasy" option that lets you dial in the desired height and linear speed of your projectile so that we can then perform the physical simulation, perfect for delivering the feel you need without breaking physical simulation.

Buoyancy

Our Buoyancy system calculates the buoyancy force that would be applied to an object given the geometry of your mesh, the mass you define and the nature of the volume (water, etc.) you want to simulate floating in. Our flexible approach can be easily connected to virtually any Water/Ocean simulation tool or integrated with your own homegrown system and is highly configurable helping you deliver as simple or as detailed of a buoyancy simulation as you need.

Force Effects

Take your game's physics to the next level with Force Effects, a powerful toolkit that can create magnets, localized gravity, spherical gravity, dampening fields, and more. with little or even no coding required in many cases. The toolkit is configurable and highly extensible making it easy to add your own custom force effects.

Verlet Integrate (dynamic bone animation)

physics-driven motion through a chain of transforms, commonly used to simulate hair, tails, capes and simple softbody-like behaviours. Create realistic hair, props that bounce, simulate soft-body behaviour, ropes, chains, and more with ease.
