Unity’s built-in Application.internetReachability can’t truly detect if there’s an active internet connection—and it was never meant to. And while simple methods like pinging Google might seem like a solution, they often fail—especially behind captive portals or restricted networks. What looks like a connection might not be one at all.

EazyNetChecker solves all of that by using Captive Portal Detection—the same technique used by major operating systems like Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS—to quickly and reliably determine if a device is actually online.
